David Kemnitzer was the Principal-in-Charge for the restoration of this historic building at Gallaudet University.  The project was initiated to modernize the mechanical, electrical, fire and life safety systems in the building.  Innovative design allowed the historic open stair to remain.  The project included restoration of several historically significant spaces in the building.
