David Kemnitzer was the project architect for restoration of this historic office in the Old Executive Office Building which is used by the Vice President of the United States.  Working from historic photographs and using innovative restoration procedures the room was restored to its original appearance while incorporating contemporary  communications, electricity, security and broadcast capability.
